Founded in 2015
Background Arrived as volunteer after mega earthquake/ tsunami in 2011. Found 94 year old abandonned school in Ogatsu, decided to rebuild in order to become sustainable learning center.
Location / Environment The facility is renovated traditional wooden sturucture. Spaces include accommodation rooms, dining space, hall, field, forest, and animals. Total foot print is 7135 square meters.
Notes MORIUMIUS is a learning place for children. Artist can create art in nature as well as to organize workshop for children. Also, you will be able to witness recovery prcess from natural disaster in 2011 and to commit to the recvery.
Please gather to feel Japan, to create future of children and community where rich forest and ocean awaits.
