| Background | biscuit gallery has operated gallery activities in Oiwake, Karuizawa since 2023. In 2026 it renovated a two-story wooden building on Tennis Court Street in Kyu-Karuizawa to open its second venue, “biscuit gallery Over/Under,” with an exhibition space on the ground floor and an artist-in-residence facility on the second floor — establishing a two-base structure across Tokyo and Karuizawa that supports artists from production through presentation. |
