Fukuoka Asian Art Museum Artist in Residence Program

Description The program supports artists, and researchers/curators from designated Asian countries who have external funding or who can cover their own expenses to stay in Fukuoka while they create their own work or undertake research.

Residency period Residency Period: April 2020 - March 2021 (30-90 days)
Qualification Number of Participants: 1-2 artists and/or researchers/curators

Countries/Regions Applicable: Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Korea, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam
*ARTIST must be based in and holds a nationality of one of the following countries or regions. RESEARCHER/CURATOR must research modern and contemporary Asian art (Open to all nationalities).
