Description We are looking for artists to stay for a 2027 term.

A term is four weeks, and you can take one to three consecutive terms. You have a whole house to yourself for the stay. The artists who run 6okken live in the same village, working on their own projects while you work on yours. Japanese is not required. We work in English and Japanese.

Nothing has to be produced or presented. Open studios and talks happen only when residents want them, run by the artists themselves.

Partners and children are welcome, and so are companies, collectives and families. Co-sleeping children stay free.
