AIR Program information
| Objective | The purpose of this program is to discover young artists / printmakers who are active throughout the world and offer them a growing experience and an opportunity to create artwork in a communal atmosphere with other artists from different backgrounds. |

| Background | In 1993, as part of the “TAMA Life 21” project commemorating the 100th anniversary of the transfer of Tokyo to the Tama district, the residence project was started at Art Studio Itsukaichi, which was a renovation of the former Tokura Village Office. |
| Location / Environment | Located on the outskirts of Tokyo, it is a quiet area with old houses. The surrounding area is dotted with historical sites and there are beautiful mountains and rivers nearby. |
