AIR Program information
| Objective | Open Art Laboratory HAISEN respects freedom of expression and fundamental human rights. It aims to maintain creative environment for anyone who wish to create. |

| Organization activities | Our system consists of monthly membership and temporary participation. We provide a rehearsal studio and a workshop space as well as equipment for long-term stay. It will help artists' creation regardless time and space. |
| Founded in | Pre-opened in 2019. Full scale launch will be in 2021. |
| Background | Founder Kamiya found a former sanatorium to be rent at a low price while he was thinking about getting rehearsal space which is easy to use, easy to concentrate. The building has a good floor plan and equipment as well as quiet and spectacular landscape surrounded by Biwako lake and mountains. The building is now under renovation for full-scale launch. |
| Location / Environment | HAISEN is located in the west side of Biwako lake in Otsu city in Shiga prefecture. It is rural area with rich nature surrounded by mountains and a lake. |

It's first come, first served from 1 hour minimum to 3 months maximum. Reservation of temporary participants starts 3 months prior after priority reservation of monthly members. Communication in Japanese preferable. Possible to accompany with a Japanese translator. |

Japanese style 3 rooms, a outdoor space with apx. 300 sq. m.,
Noisy work limits from 9AM to 6PM.

Japanese style room: 3 rooms (with maximum 4 persons each). Multi purpose studio can be used for accommodation.
Kitchen, bathroom, shower, wishing machine.
Wifi available. Parking lot available. Bike rent available. fire and BBQ available at garden. Wheel chairs are not accessible.
Presentation spaceAvailable
Multi purpose studio can be used for presentation space with limitation of 4 days per months.
Location
15 minute walk from JR Koseiline Shiga station. 5 minute by car from Shiga interchange of Kosei line.
