Description CCA Kitakyushu operates Fellowship Program for young artists and researchers those who are engaged in art, curatorial work, design and architecture.
Residency location Center for Contemporary Art, CCA Kitakyushu
Residency period Fellowship Program 2020/21 runs from the September 2020 to the end of March 2021 accepting fellows in the fields of art, curatorial work, architecture and design. Each fellow is required to stay and work in Kitakyushu for a few months either consecutively or intermittently during the above period of time.
Qualification CURATOR: Work experience in contemporary art or majored in art/art history.
ARCHITECT/DESIGNER: Work experience by running private office or being engaged in the equivalent activities.

ARTIST: –

ALL up to age 40.
Pay by artists / Support for artists The travel expense
CCA covers a return air fare (economy) from your home country to Kitakyushu according to CCA terms.

JPY 200’000 is offered by CCA Scholarship Committee.
Selection process FIRST STAGE: The candidates’ application materials are examined.
SECOND STAGE (FINAL): Interview
