| Background | Since its opening, the Setagaya Art Museum has developed a number of performance programs. Experimental performance series at the museum's entrance were held to support young artists and explore the possibilities of the museum space from 2005 to 2021. Further developing this program, the museum has launched an artist-in-residence (AIR) program from 2022 in collaboration with Art Network Japan, a non-profit organization specializing in international exchange and artist development through the performing arts. |
