AIR Program information
Objective | Initially concentrating on art, architecture and performance, over time BankART diversified their scope of activities and embraced other genres. In the midst of this continual expansion it has invested a lot of energy into “everyday work”. In addition to the specialised art bookshop with its comprehensive stock of DVDs and exhibition catalogues, the café and pub located on its premises remains open daily until 23:00. The artist in residence programme runs throughout the year and on weekday nights adult education classes (Terakoya) are on offer. All these activities occur in parallel with the day-to-day business of running BankART. |
