| Description | This program aims to create new possibilities for the local community by releasing the everyday space of the "city" as a place for experimentation and accepting artists, curators, architects and other diverse fields from Japan and abroad as resident artists. This year, we will be accepting applications for the Koganecho AIR program every two months. ▼Schedule ○Application Period 2021/7/1〜7/31 → Moved in after 2021/9/1 ○Application Period 2021/9/1〜9/30 → Moved in after 2021/11/1 ○Application Period 2021/11/1〜11/30 → Moved in after 2022/1/1 ○Application Period 2022/1/1〜1/31 → Moved in after 2022/3/1 ○2Application Period 022/3/1〜3/31 → Moved in after 2022/5/1 *All times are JST. *The application period will start around the first of each month, but is subject to change without notice. |

| Residency period | Long-term Residency Programme：1 year Short-term Residency Programme : 3 months * Residency dates are negotiable. Please let us know if you would like to stay for less than 1 year or more than 3 months. * If residency dates overlap the fiscal year (April to March), a contract renewal will be required at the end of the fiscal year. |
| Qualification | ・Currently active artist (of any genre) ・Any age* or nationality ・Must be able to work and live independently ・Must be able to pay monthly costs (outlined above) ・Understand the aims of KAMC and local residents, and work together towards achieving these aims. ・Participate in events hosted by KAMC, local events, and be able to connect with local residents. *Those under the age of 18 will need a guardian to sign their application form. This is also the case for group applications which includes minors. |
| Pay by artists / Support for artists | Meetings ・Artists Meetings (every 27th) ・Gathering Opportunity Exhibition space provision For exhibiting and presenting work created during the residency (including PR events, opening receptions, etc). Publicity Sharing artists' event information for the duration of the residency period (via our website, social media, mailing list, etc). Use of Shared Facilities Free use of shared facilities (such as kitchen, workshop spaces, etc).Resident artist discount rates for use of our other facilities.
