| Description | L'alba (Latin 'the dawn'), signifying the "House of Shared Talents", is an artist residence founded by Melanie de Biasio. The house aims to be a place of encounters, simplicity, and exchanges, a playground to broaden horizons. L'Alba offers creators a moment of pause, a warm and benevolent refuge, a laboratory where they can freely experiment with alternate paths, thus allowing the still submerged part of their talent to blossom and "let the imprudence come...", to paraphrase Alain Bashung. There is currently no call for residencies. Instead, we work based on the availability of spaces and the compelling nature of the projects presented at the application stage. Your application is welcome at any time. Four sectors are eligible for the residency: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Literature and Books, and Heritage. |

| Selection process | We work on the basis of the availability of spaces and the compelling nature of the projects presented at the application stage. You are most welcome to send us your application at any time. The choice of projects is made by a selection committee, comprised of members of L’Alba and people of reference within the cultural fields.
